Don Freedman participated in a panel discussion, "Caring for our Parents, Planning for Ourselves" on May 28, 2008. The program was co-sponsored by WGBH-TV, Temple Emanuel (Newton) and Temple Beth Elohim (Wellesley). The program included a special screening of 30 minutes of the WGBH Film, Caring for Your Parents, recently aired nationally, followed by a panel discussion. The panelists were Michael Cantor, MD, a geriatrician and Medical Director of Dovetail Health; Linda Cohen, LICSW, Director of Senior Counseling Services at Crossroads Counseling; Marsha Frankel, Clinical Director for Senior Services at Jewish Family & Children's Services; and Attorney Freedman, who concentrates on elder and disability law and related benefits and estate planning work here at RFG.
