The focus of the RF&G Litigation Group is to help clients, in a competent, caring and cost-effective manner, resolve legal problems through the Court system. Often the most important parts of our work are educating clients about realistic outcomes, preparing clients for settlement, and considering mediation and other approaches to alternative dispute resolution. Our lawyers Howard I. Goldstein and Faith Segal have more than forty years experience between them including extensive jury trial experience. Mr. Goldstein is a trained mediator, and encourages clients to consider alternatives to litigation in every appropriate case. In consultation with Eliot Cohen, a founder of the firm and now a retired Probate and Family Court judge, our Litgation Group has a level of experience and skill in litigation which is uncommon in law firms of our size.
