Probate and Trusts Our work in this area primarily involves petitioning the court for the appointment of the executor of an estate, obtaining approval of the will, compiling an inventory of estate assets, management of estates, estate accounting, estate tax return preparation or supervision, obtaining allowance of accounts, and distribution of estates. With regard to trusts, we primarily assist clients with trust accountings and counseling trustees in proper trust administration. When necessary, we have the capacity to bring the resources of the RF&G Litigation Group to bear on will and probate disputes, on complex or contested guardianships, and on questions of trust administration.
